Which Direction to Run the Commercial Hardwood Flooring

The most interesting decision we had to make when we had our commercial hardwood flooring installed in our home was what direction we wanted the length in. In other words, did we want the length of the boards to emphasize the width of each room or the length of each room instead. What helped make our decision is that our living room, family room, and kitchen are all connected, and we wanted the floor to be uniform between all three rooms.
